| This yearling stud colt has a great mother, and if you are like me, you know how important a dam is in producing a truly great performance horse. Dams often get overlooked in a performance horse prospect, but vary rarely do you see a great horse in the show ring that did not have a great mother. Retsina, Indy's dam, was the producer of another one of my great broodmares, Shine on Retsina by Shining Spark. Shine on Retsina was a NRHA open futurity finalist, derby and NRBC finalist as well. She has won more than $30,000 in NRHA money. Sired by the legendary Smart Chic Olena, who needs no introduction in the performance horse world, Indy has the potential to be a great show horse. Smart Chic Olena's foals have earned more than $9 million in reining cutting and cowhorse competition. His stud fee is $25,000.
