| Making a Scene, aka "Leo," is a colt that has the bloodlines, conformation, and temperament I look for in my reining prospects. He is by NRHA Hall of Fame sire, Topsail Whiz, who has sired more than $6 million worth of reining money earners. As the leading sire of NRHA reining horses for the past six years, no other sire has dominated the reining horse industry with their progeny the way Topsail Whiz has. Leo's dam, Nic N Smart, aka Remilena, is by legendary reining and cowhorse sire, Reminic, and is out of a Smart Chic Olena mare by the name of Cowgirls Are Smart. Cowgirls Are Smart won the World's Greatest Horseman contest with Ron Ralls and is probably the most famous daughter of Smart Chic Olena ever. I only showed Remolina twice and won more than $5,000 with her in the two times I showed her, including wins in all three divisions of the Ohio Valley Reining Futurity in 2006. Remilena has a phenomenal mind, fantastic athletic ability, and is one of my all-time favorite horses. The cross of Topsail Whiz over Remilena is sure to be something the show ring is going to remember. This is a colt to look out for! |
