Absolutely the Best!
|
| by Cindy Norman from St Augustine, FL |
| These halters and lead ropes are absoutely the best quality and functional rope halters that you can buy. The quick release clip is sturdy and well designed and if you prefer - they also offer the twist release clip.
The rope quality is great and the placement of the knots make this the ultimate training halter. This is the only halter I have in my barn. Thank you for a fabulous product!

Ya Sure ya betcha!!
|
| by Kerri from Bemidji, MN |
| They are absolutely fantastic products. Ive tried other rope halters and leads that claim to "fit" Clintons training or to be "just as good as", but to no avail. I worked with a previously abused TWH and as Clinton states just leaned on the web halter. The other rope halters and leads did not have the same quality, but THE DAY I put these products to use; she and I were communicating better than ever! And I do believe she loves the pink color. Many many thanks from "Avay up nort" in Minnesota! |
Its the Best
|
| by Laura from Traverse City, MI |
| Well I am sold on this halter and lead. First, the halter is an awesome piece of training equipment. The feel of the rope used for the halter is really nice. It is different than any of the other ones I've seen out there on the market. Also, just using it to move my horse around is easy. The lead is fantastic. I love the length and the poppers on the end. My small size halter fits several sizes of my horses. Thank you for coming up with a very useful halter! |
The best Ive Owned
|
| by Kathy from Lihue, HI |
| I've trained/am training horses using nothing but these halters/lead lines even with my big 1600 pound Shire, this system is the best I have ever owned. All my horses are light, responsive and understand what I am asking very quickly. It doesn't take long that both the halters and the lead line are in neutral most of the time; great product!! I dont use any other halter system now. |
Quality Product
|
| by Jayne Cascarelli from Westcliffe, Colorado |
| These halters and lead ropes are made of quality material that provide ideal durability and stiffness. I have replaced all the other styles of halters in my barn. Once you start using these, you won't go back. |
Wouldnt use anything else!
|
| by Linda from Independence, MO |
| We love the stiffness of the halter rope and the knots on the nose. We have used other rope halters and web halters but this stiff rope material makes them easier to put on and the knots really get a quickier response from the horse. We use them and only them for EVERYTHING and got rid of the web halters!
The lead rope is awesome! The rope is easy to wash and we love the feel and weight of it; perfect length. Also, the only lead ropes that we will use. Roy wants these halters and lead ropes everywhere we might need to grab them: basement, garage, barn and trailer.
Lets see what color are we going to get next... |
AWESOME HALTER!
|
| by Jaime from Houston, TX |
| This is the most incredible halter ever. I have a horse who had terrible ground manners; but now, I let my three year old lead her around! Great for lunging, you can even tie with it! |
Big difference
|
| by Carol from Southlake, TX |
| When I started groundwork with my horse, I just used a regular rope halter and lead rope, thinking that they would be ok.What a difference it made when I finally switched to Clintons halter and lead. The stiffness and weight of the rope, as well as the knot placement, helped me get immediate results from my horse. Within minutes I was getting her to flex easier and give to the pressure. Dont keep using your old, flimsy rope halters if you really want to gain respect and control! |
Lasts & Lasts
|
| by Stephanie from Nimitz, West Virginia |
| I purchased my halter and lead in September 2005, it is still going strong! I know some people are concerned about the price, dont be!! My halter & lead have been used every day since then and there isnt anything wrong with it. I dont even own a flat nylon/leather halter anymore. Great for every horse activity, dries quickly when wet, Ive even thrown it in the washing machine numerous times. BUY ONE, you wont regret it!!!! |
halter & lead
|
| by Allison from petaluma, Ca. |
| I now have 4 halters & leads, and only 2 horses. Im 1 handed right now,due to a recent surgery. I can safely work my horse, without concern, with DUH lead & halter. The knots are in such a place that the horses respond promptly when bumped. I have earned Newts & Neds respect using these tools. I just received my blue halter & love the color on my Paint. I cant imagine using a webbed halter or shorter lead ever again. Thanks CA for a great product! |
I LOVE my halter and lead!

| by Katie from Malone, New York |

i recomend these halters to everybody! |
Halter and lead!
|
| by katie from Millersville, Maryland |
| I absolutely love the halter and lead, the horses Ive trained arent trying to be heavy and stiff in my hands, they go around without trying to pull some where they want to go, My overall rating from 1-10 would definetly be a 10!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray Downunder horsemanship |
Awesome Lead Rope/Halter
|
| by Lisa from Junction City, Oregon |
| We love this lead rope/halter combo. The quality is excellent, and love the knots over the nose for times when we need "extra communication" with our horse. The lead rope is very nice quality and a nice length too - love that we can do our ground work at a safe distance! Thanks again! |
Disrespectful Grade Quarter
|
| by Tammy from Lonsdale, Minnesota |
| Im a first time horse owner and purchased my 16 yr old quarter grade horse this past August. He was very good to start but after about a month became very unruley when I led him out of the pasture, basically dragged me to the grass, would not stop for anything. While trimming his feet my farrier mentioned Clintons halter to me, he actually just received on in the mail tha the ordered. Said it was what I needed to teach him control. I will swear on this halter, this horse is a completely different horse from 4 months ago and it only took a day to show results. I just bought my second horse and will be purchasing another Clinton Anderson Halter. My new mare is well trained but I will still use this halter to keep her ground manners going. Thank you Clinton, your product helped me control my horse before he hurt me. |
Sceptical? Not any more!
|
| by Liz from Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire UK |
| I must admit I was sceptical about the Halter and lead. Was this just another of those money making label scams?
I had been using a cheap rope halter off ebay and it seemed to work ok....Well, the difference once I started to use the DUH halter and lead was stunning. The lead feels alivein my hands and allows the message to be sent clearly to the halter. My little Morgan mare absolutely loves the groundwork, she is enthusiastic and attentive ALL THE TIME!! I very rarely have to remind her to pay attention to me, the halter seems to do that for me! Another top quality product from DUH, thanks Clinton XX |
Simply The Best!
|
| by Michelle from Waynesboro, PA |
| I have used this halter for all my training and it is absolutely wonderful. I have also used this on stallions and other hard to handle horses and the difference between these horses wearing regular halters and this halter is like night and day. They immediately respond and listen when wearing one of these rope halters. Ive compaired this halter to other rope halters and there really is no comparason. I will not use any other halter on my horses. They both look and function beautifully! I will definately buy more. You never know when youll need extras. |
Love THEM!!!!

| All I can say is ...... once you go Clinton Anderson Halters.......... YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!
I love them! Awsome, very well worth the money!!!!!

Halter and Lead
|
| by Amy Bruce from Tappahannock, VA/US |
| I have to say that this is one of the best products I have ever used in my training program. It is amazing what you can accomplish with the pressure points the knots activate. Every horse that comes to our farm for training gets a halter. |
One of the best tools youll ever use!
|
| by Stacy from Fort Rock, OR |
| This halter and lead are acritical ingredient to reach your improvement in your hrosemanship goals. The first time you use it you will be SO glad you tried it! My only complaint is that they dont wear out, so I cant justify getting new ones in all the colors! Hands down, I say GET this halter and lead today! |
Tools for success
|
| by Lisa from Zebulon, Georgia |
| I had previously used this halter and lead rope from a friend and came to realize thru the use of them I was able to rely on the strength and durablity of them both together. They definately get the job done and at the same time gives you confidence in handling any situation with your horse. I have my own set now and I am very very satisfied with my purchase! Thankyou Clinton!!! |
A Must Have Item!
|
| by Lana from Willits, California |
| The halter and lead rope completely changed my experience with horses overall. The type of response you immediately receive from your horse is incredible! I use the halter on every horse I ever touch. Weanlings respond very well to them, as well are old, stubborn horses! : I would definitely recommend this purchase to any and all calibers of horse people. |
One tough halter and lead rope
|
| by Brenda from Eagleville, TN |
| I thought the halter and lead rope I has been using the last few years were really tough until I ordered Clintons. The lead rope is extra long and feels really good in your hands. The halter is nice and stiff, the medium fit my horse perfect where my old one was lose and flimsy. It is perfect! |
Wouldnt Use Anything Else
|
| by Jerry from Lees Summit, Missouri |
| This rope halter and lead are the best. Ive used other rope halters, but they didnt have the knots over the nose. They are easy to put on and are durable. I like the length of the lead as it is versitile lead or lunge. I wouldnt use anything else. |
Halter and Lead Rope
|
| by Vicky from Clinton, MO |
| Last night I ponied a horse off our property for the first time. Since this is still a learning process for us the ponied horse wasnt always staying back like he should. A couple quick bumps on the halter and he slowed down immediately. I had plenty of lead line so didnt have to worry about him being out of my reach. I know our ride would have been more difficult if I had been using a different halter and lead rope. I got my first DUH halter and lead in 2003. I dont want to use any others, they just dont measure up! |
Quality matters. Its worth every penny!
|
| by Morgan from Brookfield, WI |
| Its hard to believe that all halters and leads ARENT created the same... I mean really rope, some knots and a little bit of hardware. Right? Wrong.
Rope isnt just rope when you can send a little wiggle down a 14ft rope and have a 1200lb horse turn its head. Everything about this set is screams quality at first touch and effectiveness at first use.
Until you get to feel the quality in your own hands no words will probably do it justice, but know that my jaw litterally dropped the first time I used it!
Clinton truly delivers on what he says. This is quality made tool that will delivers exceptional results. I am forever a fan! Money well spent. |

| by Heather from Snohomish, Washington |
| I will NEVER go back to my old, flat halters ever again!! I was very skeptical about all rope halters till I watched Clinton & decided to give his halter a try which am so glad I did. I was impressed by the quality and could not believe what a huge difference this halter has made on my horse when I work with him. I LOVE IT~~ |
Best Halter ever!

Hater n Lead Ropes, stick n string.
|
| by Rebecca from MORRIS, OKLAHOMA |
| Great products, have the perfect feel- soft but firm. The Halter has been very important with all of my horses from my foals to Alfa mare that use to break everything, to my studs they always listen when they have them on. Without using them they look at me with like a laugh, like you human you really think I am going to listen.,I have very big, tall Q/HS.lol. Without these tools including the stick n string.I would have never been able to do the things I can now. Thanks DUH Team |
The DUH Halter works on calves too!
|
| by Sondra from Centerville, Texas |
| I have used Clintons halters since he began selling them and still have the very first one! We raised Scottish Highland Cattle and I needed to halter break my bottle fed calf. Tried the foal sized halter on him and had him leading in 3 days after just a few minutes a day. Then broke 2 others as well. Works on our horses AND our calves!! Thanks Clinton!! The MOST useful tool in our tack room!! |
