Love this halter!
|
| by Renee Miner from Sacramento, CA |
| I bought the halter the same time I bought the lead. The quality is great. Left mine out in the sun and didnt notice any fading. Plus the side knots really make it difficult for my horse to put tension on me while leading. |
Perfect

| My family bought me the halter and lead for a Christmas gift after I got my first horse and it help my horse make an amazing improvement! there is no other halter that provides pressure like this one making the right things easier and the wrong harder. |

Great Training Tool
|
| by Jeff from Rochester, MN |
| I have used Clintons rope halter and lead for all of my groundwork training. Recently, some of my tack was taken from the stable where I board. Whoever took it was smart, they only took my Clinton Anderson tack! and all of it too! I have found the halter, 14 lead and training stick to be an amazing tool as well as the slobber straps and mecate reins. I recently found out how much when I had to switch back temporairly to a regular nylon halter and 25 cotton lunge line. I sure do miss my rope halter, lead and training stick. I will be ordering replacements soon! |
draft size rope halter
|
| by Tammy from Bend, Oregon |
| With a draft horse who is very pushy and a bad back, I made little headway with his manners until I broke down and paid the "big bucks" for this wonderful rope halter. Upon using it, I was able to handle him much, much better. A year after I gave the halter away when I sold the horse, I found myself begging to get the halter back because I am now doing voluntter work with another pushy draft horse and I cant do a thing without it. The stick and rope work wonders, too. Thanks so much!

DUH Halters/Leads
|
| by Sondra from Centerville, Texas |
| I purchased these the first time I saw Clinton on RFD-TV. They are wonderful for all my horses and I have used them to help my friends with their horses as well. They ended up buying them too!
Well, we raise Scottish Highland cattle and I have some buyers who wanted their calves halter broke. I have never had to do that but I thought why not use a DUH halter?
The cattlemen around us thought I was nuts...thats NOT the way they all do it but I just had to give it a shot. It worked so well on 1200lb horses why not on 400lb calves?
Had those calves halter broke to lead in and out of the pens and trailers in 3 days, working 15 minutes or so a session and doing 4 sessions a day.
Didnt stress the calves and we could handle them easily. So let eveyone know that they work GREAT on halter breaking your show calves as well!!!
Thanks! |
Awesome Product

| I have a hard to handle mustang mare who is stubborn and very smart. She would not cooperate when wearing a standard halter and she liked to take me for walk or drag.
A natural horsemanship trainer named Angi, recommended Clinton Andersons Halter & Lead rope to curb the misbehavior. And guess what? It works like a charm!
Make your purchase and see what a difference it makes.

Rope halter
|
| by Aimee from Dana Point, Ca |
| I dont even look at other halters. My Mare used to be very disrespectful and heavy with the web halter, dragging me all around This halter has helped her to respect the halter and made groundwork training much easier on my arms, especially since I am only 120 lbs. and she is 1,000 lbs. Not much else to say about that. I send all my friends to the website to purchase Clintons rope halter.
Sincerely,
Aimee Campbell |
Awesome halter

| This halter fits better than any other rope halter I have ever used. I really love the great colours as well! Thank you for a great product! |
Snazzy!
|
| by Shannon Smith from Pleasant Point, ME |
| I LOVE this halter! I trained one of my stallions with a web halter and had a little trouble with him pulling on me. I went to a Clinton Anderson clinic and while I was there I purchased a halter/lead combo. I couldnt believe the difference. He stopped pulling on me immediately. I now use this halter to train all my stallions. |

| I LOVE THIS HALTER, MY HORSE RESPECTS ME WHILE I HANDLE HIM. |
There is a difference.
|
| by Mary from Topeka, KS |
| I put off buying one of these halters for a long time. I've tied my own halters for years. I finally took advantage of the sale and bought one. There IS a difference. The halter keeps its shape and the stiffer rope makes it work differently on the horses nose. You could watch my horse wake up and take notice the first day while I was working her with it. I highly recommend them and I plan on stocking up. |
Best Halter I have ever owned
|
| by Mary from Berry, KY |
| I bought the halter with the 14' lead and handy stick at a tour stop. It is really a great halter. The two knots on the top really help teach your horse to come off pressure and really helps make them soft and easy movers. |
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!!!!
|
| by Danette Gardner from Fair Play, Missouri |
| What more can I sayabout this halter, you will be very pleased with it; like I am. I will never waste any more time or money on the other brands of rope halters ever again. HIGH QUALITY ALL THE WAY!!! |
Halter
|
| by Vicky from Clinton, MO |
| I purchased my first CA DUH halter in 2003. I've bought a total of six halters and lead rope sets since. I do not want to use any other halters and lead ropes. My friends have bought other rope halters and leads, which I've had to used when they have had me handle their horses. DUH halters and lead ropes are far superior to any other that I have seen or used. The great response I get from my horses is hard to explain until you experience it for yourself. The weight and stiffness of the rope is just right to be effective with the horses. Foals respond well to the halters, also. I recommend these halters if you want to have a responsive, safer horse. Dont settle for the knock-offs or the homemade ones. They are NOT the same! Save your money and buy DUH halters and lead ropes. |
Great tool
|
| by Heather from Englewood, CO |
| My mare had so much energy, she would drag me everywhere! When we switched to using this halter for training it only took one or two sessions for her to almost completely stop leaning on me at all. Just a tug now and then to keep her from pulling and she quits. I was and am very impressed with how much more responsive she is to this halter than to a normal thick nylon halter. |
Power Steering
|
| by Vicki from Kemp, TX |
| I bought this halter at a Clinic and was so impressed with how much better my horse paid attention to me. I told a friend who had nearly been run over by her stallion. I told her it was the difference in having a car with power steering vs. not. She has now got one and agrees with me this is the best. I used a other halter once and it did not compare. They dont have the knots in the same place or have the same stiff rope. |
Lasts forever!
|
| by cheryl from kamas, utah |
| I bought 2 of these halters several yrs ago and they are still pliable, even after being left out in the extreme weather conditions of the Utah mtns. Perfect for your ground work! |
Best halter every purchased!
|
| by renee from campbell, tx |
| This halter is superior, not only does it serve the purpose of a halter, but as a training aid, as well! I purchased it 6 yrs ago and it still holds its shape. I would have purchased at least 3 "feed store" halters and still wouldnt have had a training tool needed. It has saved me lots of money! |
What a suprise!
|
| by Ted from Moorpark, Ca |
| I was hesitant to change, after all Ive been using nylon halters for 20 years. And besides I heard Clinton say that his halters arent majic, they just make things easier. But after skiing across an arena behind a horse that didnt feel like lunging that day I decided to give one of Clintons halters a try. And what a suprise, my horse doesnt hit the end of that lunge line very offen any more. While I hesitate to disagree with the master, I have to say that the halter may not be majic but it is awfully close and certainly exactly what my horse and I needed. A great product, a good price, and a very valuable training aid. Thanks Clinton |
none better
|
| by holly from hart, michigan |
| recieved and tried this halter and love it. craftmanship, sizing, price, and performance is second to none. right out of the box satisfaction. some comment on the price! I have bought rope halters from ohters and they stretch out, fade and are really bad with there knot placement and amount of knots causing less or lame pressure. those cost 20 dollars each and took 3 to make it through a year. you only need one of these. 21.25 vs. 60. + for something that just doesnt get it done. and if it does it takes forever. this halter gives me confidence and my hore confidence. buy it and see. youll love it. if you dont love it turn it around and put it on right! |
Best training halter out there

| by shannon from brighton, colorado |
| This halter is great and makes training your horse easier. I use this halter every where I go. I would recomend this to any horse owner. |
A Winner !
|
| by Cathryn from Gresham, Wisconsin |
| Ive had several of these haulters, starting with a weanling haulter. What a fantastic tool for teaching your youngsters. With this haulter there is no frustration getting their attention. Just a little pressure & they try to do what you want. Ive finally given my weanling haulter away. Will use only these haulters. No more frustration. Thank You ! |
A must have!!!!!!!!!!!

| by kimberly from orlando, fl |
| i got this at a tour and i have had it for a week now and it showed imediate resaults!! if you dont have the halter and lead rope you better get it now!!! |
Worth every penny
|
| by Nelly from Slidell, Louisiana |
| I was skeptical when I decided to buy the rope halter. When I received it the first thing I noticed was the stiffness of the rope. Seen a lot of rope halters around the barn, they are all soft. The rope is much better quality. I get an immediate response when she has it on. Makes training much easier for both of us. |
Life saver!
|
| by Lacy from Houston, Texas |
| My colt was so difficult to handle that I was told I must buy a painful stud chain to keep him under control. I decided to try this halter first and am SO glad I did!! Worked like a charm to help me to assert myself and now he is doing much better. Has held up wonderfully over the months as well. |
Truly necessary piece of equipment!
|
| by Lindsay from Amarillo, TX |
| I am not one to jump on the "special equipment" band wagon. But when Clinton emphasised that there is no special equipment, just tools that help you do the job better I took notice. I could tell in his tv shows that the horse really responded much lighter with the halter and I could see how the extra length helped him with his exercises. I tried it for myself and I instantly saw a difference. I have very pushy horses and none of them leaned against it!! It has made my job much easier and I know I wouldnt be getting the light responses without it! |
A must!
|
| by Evie from Lancaster, Ohio |
| Incredible product! Wouldnt have it any other way. The results are amazing. Not only does it do its job, but it is very durable and seems it will last forever. I would stongly recommend to anyone! |
AMAZING WORTH EVERY PENNY
|
| by Kassee from Apollo, Pennsylvania |
| When I bought it I immidietly went out to my barn to try it out on my horses. My gelding appaloosa had a habit of running off when I lunged him to get out of working. When I lunged him with this halter I jerked his head back around and he didnt run off. Worked great to teach my mare to back up and to train a two year old gelding who was a half brother to my appy very similar personalitys Best investment I am currently waiting on my stick and string and another halter and lead! Thank you to Clinton Anderson! |
What a difference!
|
| by Lynn from dayton, ohio |
| I have used rope halters from several different merchants. The design of Clintons rope halter has made a huge difference with my horses. The thin rope and extra knots provied more information to your horse when they need it. It has helped me with behaviors such as pulling against the halter and trying to turn away. I would recommend Clintons rope halter to anyone who wants to have clearer and more precise communication with thier horse. Plus, they come in great colors! |
Accept no imitations!
|
| by Stephanie from Boerne, TX |
| I have tried many different brands of rope halters, with the two extra knots like th DUH one and without. The DUH halter is by far superior. The quality is just obvious from the moment that you see it/feel it. It has just the right stiffness. It also holds up very well--I use mine pretty much every day and except for the fact that it is dirty right now, you would think it is brand new. Also, I have thrown both the halter and my DUH 14 lead rope removed the snap first! in the washing machine a while back and they came out beautiful and without losing any shape or stiffness. Most rope halters work okay on my horses for training, but I can tell a difference with the responsiveness to the DUH halter...it enables me to be able to use the slightest amount of pressure and get a try from my horse. Love these halters! |
No more Chains on my horses!
|
| by Roxanne from Olympia, WA |
| I have a very smart older 16 hand gelding. He was brought up on stud chains for everything, even the shoer. I was unable to control him with a regular nylon halter he would just pull me around like a doll. He has not had a chain on for at least 7 years since we purchaced our 1st halter from you. He still doesnt respect a nylon halter, but at least I have yours. Thank you! I have just now wore out the 1st one and purchase his 2nd one. All my horses wear them! |
Halter
|
| by DAYLE from Westminster, CA |
| This halter does exactly what is said and written. I can trust the halter to maintain respect from my horse should the halter be challenged by my horse. In most instance it is rare because of going through the Fundamentals.
In this case it is very true...I would not recommend any other halter. |
Money well spent
|
| by Melissa from Little York, Illinois |
| I must admit I was very leary about spending that much money on a halter. I now own three. The best testimonial I have is this: My husband, who does not appreciate my horses or tack for that matter, lost one of my halters out in the pasture in the spring. Later on, in the fall, he found it-after he had been mowing with the Bush Hog. He completely mowed the halter over by accident. I was completely amazed when he handed me the halter STILL IN ONE PIECE! I still use it to this day!! Well worth the money! |
