We’re excited to share that two of our works received accolades at the prestigious American Horse Publications Equine Media Awards that took place Saturday, June 16th. Held since 1974, the American Horse Publications annual awards contest offers members an opportunity to be recognized for excellence in a variety of equine media categories. This year’s competition for material published in 2017 drew 823 entries.

First Place, Business Equine-Related Video

The inspirational video “Shana and Marty at Liberty” that our team put together of Professional Clinician Shana Terry and her horse Marty at liberty on the obstacle course took first-place honors in the business equine-related video category.

What the judges said: The shots of Shana and Marty working together in the field are stunningly good. Introduction is beautifully shot and edited. Lighting and framing of the interview are very well done. There are some very interesting uses of drones to acquire interesting footage.

You can watch the inspirational video on our DUHorseman YouTube channel.

Second Place, Business Equine-Related Multi-Issue Publication

The No Worries Journal, our 172-page quarterly publication that No Worries Club members receive, was honored with a second place in the business equine-related multi-issue publication category.

What the judges said: This multi-issue publication is an exclusive benefit to the members of the No Worries Club. All of the editorial pages of these journals promote and illustrate the Clinton Method of instruction, training, teaching and attitude. Their readership would be quite excited to receive this fine quality publication each quarter. These magazines are abundantly successful in both design and content.  They portray the mission of Clinton Anderson Downunder Horsemanship with steadfast integrity.
