Colt Starting Certification Earned

0706_02

We’re sending out a big congratulations to our Method Ambassadors who earned their Colt Starting Certification last week. The 10 horsemen participated in a Colt Starting Clinic taught by Professional Clinician Jeff Davis and proved that they have the ability to start a horse under saddle.

2021 Colt Starting Certification:

Clinton added the additional certification for Method Ambassadors in an effort to help customers make better informed decisions about the clinician or ambassador they send their horses to get trained to. Ambassadors who complete a colt starting course and receive a passing mark from Downunder Horsemanship will be certified to accept colts for training. The certification does not permit them to teach clinics or private lessons focused on colt starting. Teaching other horsemen the colt starting techniques is reserved for Professional Clinicians.

Find a Method Ambassador certified to start colts by visiting the Certified Clinician website https://www.certifiedclinician.com/. Ambassadors who have earned the additional level of training will have a colt starting certification logo on their profile photo and the accomplishment will be listed on their webpages.
