Horsemen Enter Their Final Week of Study at the Ranch

0509_02

The horsemen enrolled in the spring session of the Clinician Academy are in their last week of study at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch. Over the past several weeks, they’ve been hard at work learning to refine their understanding and application of the Fundamentals level of the Method.

Professional Clinician Kristin Hamacher teaches the class, working with the students five days a week. Each student trains two of their personal horses throughout the course, learning the six-week Academy Horse program Clinton is known for.

The horsemen have already taken their written exam that covers the philosophy behind the Method and will do their practical testing early next week. During the practical testing, they’ll choose one of their horses to perform each of the Fundamentals groundwork and riding exercises in front of Clinton to receive a grade.

After all testing is complete, on Wednesday we’ll hold a ceremony to celebrate the class’s hard work and recognize those who receive certification to become Method Ambassadors. If you’re a No Worries Club member, you can listen to Clinton’s take on the class so far by logging on to the club site or the Downunder Horsemanship app. Go to the Man Behind the Method video category and select the video, “2023 Spring Clinician Academy Update.”

A couple participation spots are available in the fall Clinician Academy course. Learn more about how the Academy can help you establish your dream career on the Downunder Horsemanship website.
