Dollar: A Method-Trained Gelding Available for Sale

101626_blog_dk

If you’re looking for a quiet, experienced gelding with a solid foundation and the miles to take new experiences in stride, meet Dollar. He’s a 15.1 hand, 8-year-old registered American Quarter Horse gelding that has been trained through the entire Fundamentals level and most of the Intermediate level of the Downunder Horsemanship Method.

Dollar is a versatile, dependable horse who is comfortable both in the arena and out on the trail. He rides well, confidently navigates obstacles, handles water, hills and changes in terrain, and has the experience to remain calm and focused in new environments. He has been hauled all over the country and is quiet and well-behaved on the trailer, making him a great partner for someone who wants a horse they can take along for new adventures.

Dollar has a solid foundation and is ready for a rider who wants to continue building on his training. He can be roped off in the pasture, has been used as a pack horse, stands well for the farrier, is easily bridled, and loads on the trailer like a pro. He is currently shod, up to date on his vaccines and last had his teeth done in January 2026.

X-rays are available upon request with a $500 deposit. If you purchase Dollar, the deposit will be refunded. Dollar is being offered for $35,000.

Dollar is located at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch in Farmington, Arkansas. The buyer is responsible for picking up Dollar or arranging transportation to their facility.
