Find It on the No Worries Club Website: Working With Draft Horses

Some people mistakenly believe that their training approach needs to change for the stature of the horse they’re working with. “That’s simply not true,” Clinton says, “The Method applies equally to a draft horse, a stock horse, and a pony. Though their sizes may vary, they’re all horses. The concept of pressure and release makes just as much sense to a Shetland Pony as it does to a Clydesdale.”

In the February 2009 No Worries Club video, Clinton works with Joy, a 3-year old Belgian to demonstrate how to apply the Method to draft horses.

Watch the training session now by logging on to the No Worries Club website or on the Downunder Horsemanship app by going to the NWC Video category and selecting the “Working With Draft Horses” video. The app is a free download from the App Store and Google Play.

The No Worries Club website is home to hundreds of hours of training video content available to members only. This exclusive content includes full-length TV shows, Q&A’s with Clinton that cover a variety of training topics, a Testing the Method series that focuses on the Fundamentals and Intermediate levels of the Method, and past No Worries Club videos.
