Colt Starting Clinic Diary Series: First Rides

0301_01

Heading into day four of the Colt Starting Clinic, Professional Clinician Jeff Davis knows that the day is going to be a pivotal point in the horses’ training journey. Each of the horses will be ridden for the first time. If a horse’s first ride goes well, it sets him up for a lifetime of success. However, if it goes poorly, his confidence takes a huge hit and his training backslides.

Join Jeff and clinic participants as they teach their horses new groundwork exercises, prepare them for the first ride, and ensure that their first time under saddle goes smoothly.
